The J-813 has been designed for the end user who specializes in cutting materials with PURE WATER.

This would typically include materials such as foam, rubber, insulation, plastic, acrylics, cloth, leather, fiber board and so on. In some cases this will include fiber glass, carbon fiber and wood, but better results may be achieved using an abrasive system.

There are several principles that are important in PURE WATER cutting that need to be addressed with waterjets:

  • Materials are often light
  • Requires minimal wetting
  • Quantities of parts are often very high – hundreds to thousands to millions
  • Speed is critical
  • Acceleration/Deceleration is very important
  • Handling of the materials is often bulky and cumbersome
  • Sizes of raw materials vary from product to product
  • The materials can often be cut at very high speeds

So the JX-813 was built to accommodate all the above situations and criteria.
