The Z-613 Waterjet

ZX-613 waterjet cutting system
A WARDJet ZX-613 with X-Series Controller

Our Z-Series and R-Series waterjets are the highest accuracy machines we build.

WARDJet's Z-613 has a huge cutting envelope, yet our compact design has a footprint similar to many competitors' 4' x 8' size waterjets. Our Z-613 is loaded with unique features you will only find on a WARDJet waterjet. For example, the Z-613 waterjet allows for a large variety of different sizes of materials to be cut with any number of cutting heads. By having an extra foot of space on our crossbeam, beyond the standard 12" of travel, we have created room for a second Z carriage to be parked when not needed, while still allowing the remaining head to have a full 12" of travel. This gives you incredible freedom as you choose how to use your machine.

Preparing your parts to be cut on the Z-613 is quick and easy. Most people are able to reach the middle of the table from the front and back of the unit. Different materials and parts can be loaded and unloaded anywhere on the table at the same time without having to climb onto it.

All WARDJet waterjets are built to allow unlimited length sheets or parts to be fed through the front and out the back of the waterjet. All Z-Series waterjets have an easy indexing system that makes it practical to move longer sheets through the machine.

The Z-613 comes with all the fantastic features that are standard with any Z-Series machine, including the freedom to choose which type or combination of grating and clamping system you want from our options.

Following are the statistics for a standard Z-613:

WARDJet Z-613 to Z-813: A Simple Transition

WARDJet's goal is to see you succeed! We've designed every aspect of our machines to help make this happen. One example of this is our machine designs, which allow your WARDJet waterjet to grow with your company.

Your Z-613 may be your first waterjet purchase, but we don't expect you to stop there. We anticipate you'll soon want increased capacity. So we've designed the Z-613 with many components that can be reused to change your machine into the larger Z-813. Instead of cutting one 4' x 8' sheet laying sideways on the Z-613, you can now triple your capacity to cutting three 4' x 8' sheets simultaneously on the Z-813, if you installed 3 cutting heads.

Some of the items that can be reused are as follows:

  • Cross beam and all items mounted on it
  • Burny Controller
  • Motors
  • Drivers and amplifiers
  • Whip stand
  • Blowers for pressurizing side and cross beam
  • Software
  • Intensifier Pump
  • Bulk Feed Hopper
  • Mini-hopper and cutting head
  • Complete Z-Carriage

By reusing these items you can see a substantial savings. This will allow you to increase your capacity without adding a whole new machine. We will even work with you to recover as many of the used components as possible. So the cost of changing over would be the cost of the new items, less whatever we can recover from the used parts.

Our installer would come to your facility and could, in less then a week, make this transition for you. Imagine what it could do for your business to be working with a company who isn't constantly trying to sell you another new machine, but is instead doing everything they can to save you money while helping you grow at your pace.
